Just messing around with this one. Drinking a beer one afternoon and sketched this out. Just an image that popped into my mind.

"Go to hell? I’m already there. I’m a rebel zombie biker. Already ridin’ my way to hell."

I was commissioned to illustrate a one-off poster for this year’s Breckenridge Dew Tour. It’s a 5 color screen print. Burlesque of North America printed them and they turned out amazing. The colors are insane in person. My original idea was the second image in the grouping here. But the client pushed me to redevelop for a horizontal layout for the final. I was against it at first but am really happy now with how it came out (thanks agency Art Director). Unfortunately these won’t ever be for sale. If you are affiliated with the event you might be able to snag one.

I can’t say much about these yet but they are a part of an upcoming self-promotional campaign that will be mailing out early next year. I still have a lot more of them to do but they’ve been a blast to create. Been digging through a lot of old Tales From The Crypt, Vault of Horror and Weird Science Fiction Tales.

These probably come closest to what I feel like is a style I can keep building and developing. It’s been a bit of an adventure trying to become more of an illustrator the past 3-5 years after spending the 10-12 before that being a fairly successful graphic designer and Art/Creative Director.

I’ve been trying to do at least one drawing every single day. There’s lots and lots more to come.
